GeoTech's TerraLite Geofoam is an extremely light weight material, weighing from 0.75 - 2 pounds per cubic foot. This is at least 1/100 the weight of other fill materials.

Because of this very low density, and the fact that the material has predictable physical properties, there are a wide range of applications that can benefit from the use of this material.

When compared to other so-called light weight fills, such as expanded shale and various types of slag, there really is no comparison.
